Represents the “client-side” and what they see when accessing a website or application. Front-end developers create the interface of a site/application, and they work alongside back-end developers, who create the “server side” of it.

The purpose of the front-end is to attract visitors, and to make the website look good, offer a great user experience, and load fast. Responsiveness and device portability are also important factors to consider. Traditional eCommerce websites have their front-end and back-end communicate directly with each other. In a headless commerce setup, the front-end is a stand-alone piece of software, and communicates with the back-end through API, and its main advantage is that it allows you to make changes to your front-end quickly and independently of the back-end.
